One of the oldest and most scenic parks in Oak Lawn, Lake Shore Park (96th St. & East Shore Dr.) lies at the banks of Oak Lawn Lake and just southwest of the emerging downtown area of Oak Lawn. The park features two playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, plus plenty of space for concerts in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. At this park, the Little White Building has been servicing young children and their families for decades with day-camp programs and preschool classes.
