Adopt-a-Flowerbed

What is the Adopt-a-Flowerbed Program?This is a volunteer activity where groups adopt a garden in theOak Lawn Parks. The group adopting the spot is responsible forplanting flowers in May and maintaining the bed through summerand fall cleanup. Maintenance includes weeding, deadheadingflowers and cleaning up the bed for the winter.

Volunteers needed to help set- up booths and run crafts and activities. Volunteers
ages 13 years & up. (ms)
Spookview
Saturday, October 26 • 10:30A- 4:30P
Volunteers are needed for games, crafts and scare stations at the Oak View Center, 110th & Kilpatrick, Meeting at 10:30. (jm)
23rd Annual Turkey Shoot
Sunday, Nov 17 • 10:30A- 12:00P
Volunteers are needed to count free throws, keep score & check-in participants
at the Community Pavilion. Must be age 13
